The Challange
The existing website, built on Adobe Experience Manager for Wipro, presented several challenges due to its heavily template-driven architecture. While the templates enabled consistency, they limited flexibility in creating dynamic and visually engaging experiences, making it difficult to implement custom UI components or modern interactions.
The rigid structure often led to repetitive layouts, slower adaptation to new design requirements, and dependencies on backend configurations for even minor frontend changes. Additionally, performance optimization and responsiveness were constrained by the templating system, impacting load times and overall user experience across devices.
Our Approach
To address these limitations, we adopted a decoupled, component-driven frontend approach that works seamlessly with Adobe Experience Manager while unlocking greater design flexibility for Wipro. We introduced a reusable design system and custom UI components that extend beyond rigid templates, enabling more dynamic layouts and richer interactions.
By separating presentation logic from backend constraints, the frontend became more agile—allowing faster iterations and easier updates without heavy dependency on AEM configurations. Performance was improved through optimized assets, lazy loading, and clean code practices, resulting in a faster, more responsive, and scalable digital experience.
